The Amarillo Public Library offers computers at all five of its branch. For computer access you can use a library card, or purchase a one day guest pass for $1. We also have year computer passes available for $5.

The Downtown Library contains the largest lab with 16 computers and provides a staff member dedicated to computer and job assistance.

Document printing is available at all five branches. The cost to print is 15 cents per page. Mobile printing is available at the Downtown and Southwest locations. See the instruction below for mobile printing.

How to print from a laptop or desktop computer at home or work:

  • Begin by visiting http://printeron.net/hlc/adl (downtown branch) or http://printeron.net/hlc/asl.
  • Select the printer and enter your email address.
  • Browse your computer to find and select the file you wish to print.
  • Click the green print icon (you will see the status of your print job and a reference number).
  • Go to the Circulation Desk just inside the front door of the library, and request to pick up your prints for your email address.

Your print job will be printed! 

How to print from tablet or smartphone app: 

  • Visit your device’s ‘store’ for apps, install and launch the PrinterOn App.
  • Click “No printer selected”.
  • Click “Search”. Search for “Amarillo”.
  • Find “HLC Amarillo Downtown Library” or “HLC Amarillo Southwest Library” and click on it.
  • To print:
    • Documents: when viewing the document, click in the upper right corner and upload the document to the PrinterOn App.
    • Photos from your phone: open the app, click on “photo” and select a photo to print.
    • Select the printer and click the print icon.
    • Enter an email address and click on the check mark (you will receive a notice that the job started, and shortly after another message stating “Job Success”).
  • Go to the Circulation Desk just inside the front door of the library, and request to pick up your prints for your email address.

 Your print job will be printed! 

How to use email to send something directly to library print system:

  • Email from any device directly to the library’s print system at hlc-adl-bw@printspots.com (Downtown Library) or hlc-asl-bw@printspots.com  (Southwest Library).
  • Go to the Circulation Desk just inside the front door of the library, and request to pick up your prints for your email address.

 Your print job will be printed!
