Amarillo Public Library has created partnerships with the Amarillo Zoo, the Don Harrington Discovery Center, and Wildcat Buff Nature Center which allow families to check out a pass to visit these locations, just as they would check out a Library book.

     There is one Amarillo Zoo Family Pass, one Discovery Center Family Pass, and one Wildcat Bluff Family Pass available for check out at each of Amarillo Public Library’s five locations.  Each pass gives one family—two adults and up to six children (18 years of younger) in the same household—one week of free admission.  Passes are not valid for special events.

     Checkout time for passes is one week, and the passes cannot be renewed.  Each pass may only be checked out once every six months.  Passes may be returned to any of the five Amarillo Public Library branches.  Overdue fine for passes is $1 per day, and if lost the replacement cost is $20.
