Just in time for a long holiday weekend, (and with video streaming services getting more expensive all the time) Amarillo Public Library is delighted to offer Kanopy video streaming to APL cardholders!

Kanopy provides instant access to thousands of critically acclaimed movies, documentaries, and kid favorites, AND you can stream Kanopy on any of your favorite devices! Kanopy is accessible via mobile and tablet apps for iPhone and Android. You can also access Kanopy on your Desktop, and SmartTV apps like Roku, Apple TV, and Fire Stick.

Here's how it works. There are several collections (British Cinema & TV, Series, Family, and Kanopy Kids) which are available for unlimited viewing. Other titles are available to view with tickets. Each Amarillo Public Library card is automatically loaded with 12 tickets per month. (Tickets expire at the end of each month and do not rollover.)

Cardholders can browse through categories or search the site for something specific. The Kanopy app even lets cardholders filter a search by the number of tickets required to stream a program to make the best use of monthly tickets!

To get started, visit kanopy.com and choose Amarillo Public Library as your library. Then enter your library card number and PIN. Next, create an account with your preferred email and password. Now you're ready to start streaming!
