Besides electing regional, state, and federal leaders, voters in the upcoming election will approve or decline a number of local ordinances.

These are some important dates to remember as the election approaches:

  • October 21 is the first day to vote early in person.
  • November 1 is the last day to vote early in person.
  • November 5 is Election Day and the deadline for receipt of vote by mail ballots.

Two Amarillo Public Library serve as election polling places.   

  • Potter County voters may cast their ballots at the Northwest Branch Library, located at 6100 W 9th, beside the West Campus of Amarillo College.
  • Randall Country citizens may vote at the Southwest Branch Library which is located at 6801 W 45th, near the intersection of 45th and Coulter.
