Amarillo Public Library is very pleased to be partnering with the City of Amarillo Department of Public Health to offer free COVID-19 vaccination clinics over the next few months.  The vaccine will no longer be free sometime after May 11, so now is the perfect time to get a vaccination or booster.  Other low-cost immunizations are also available to anyone without health insurance.  Here is the complete schedule of clinics:

CLINICS IN FEBRUARY:
Monday, February 27 from 1 to 4 PM at the Northwest Branch Library – 6100 W 9th
Tuesday, February 28 from 12:30 to 3:30 PM at the North Branch Library - 1500 NE 24th

CLINICS IN MARCH:
Wednesday, March 1 from 11 AM to 2 PM at the East Branch Library – 2232 E 27th
Wednesday, March 8 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the East Branch Library – 2232 E 27th
Monday, March 13 from 2 to 5 PM at the Northwest Branch Library – 6100 W 9th
Tuesday, March 21 from 12:30 to 3:30 PM at the North Branch Library - 1500 NE 24th

TRUSTED MESSENGER TRAINING
In addition to the vaccination clinics, Amarillo Public Library will host a Trusted Messenger training session at each of its five locations.  These trainings provide accurate and up-to-date information for anyone who wants to be better informed about COVID-19 and equip participants with the knowledge to talk confidently about COVID-19 and other health issues with friends, family, and neighbors.  Join us for refreshments and a lot of information!
