AMA-CON 2025
Day One - Saturday, August 2 from 11 AM to 7 PM – Amarillo Civic Center Complex
Amarillo’s original Pop Culture Convention is back! Enjoy artists, vendors, cosplay, gaming, and panels and presentations—including events with celebrated sci-fi/fantasy authors Aparna Verma and James Butcher; original Sonic The Hedgehog voiceover actors David Humphrey, Ryan Drummond, and Scott Dreier; cartoon and anime voiceover actor Ryan Bartley; and Optimus Prime from Transformers! Don’t miss the AMA-CON Art Show, Kids Activities, and gaming tournaments and cosplay contests until 7 PM. A 1-day pass to AMA-CON is just $8 or you can get a 2-day pass for $10. All proceeds benefit Friends of the Amarillo Public Library!
Art Show - Saturday, August 2 from 11 AM to 7 PM – Amarillo Civic Center Complex
The art exhibit will be open to artists of all ages (until full) and is organized in partnership with the Amarillo Museum of Art! We’ll award certificates to outstanding entries in 3 age categories, and artwork will be on display for everyone to enjoy throughout the con. Visit www.libraryamacon.org for entry information!
