Patrons may reserve items which are in high demand and are charged out. The patron will be contacted when the reserved item has been returned. The item will be held for three days for the patron to pick up.

No fee is charged for reserve items which are available at another APL location. 

Patrons outside the Amarillo Public Library service area may request materials through Interlibrary Loan through their local libraries. 

Patrons may place reserves on materials at any Reference Department of any library outlet, or by calling the Central Library Reference Department at 378-3054.
