What is a Reference Question? |
|
|
A reference question can be about almost any topic. Questions answered involve brief, factual responses - statistics, names, addresses, telephone numbers, biographical facts, or sources of information.
For example,
you could ask:
Who was
the first city manager of Amarillo?
What
is the address of the Houston Chamber of Commerce?
Where
are the corporate headquarters of Southwest Airlines?
How
does it work?
- Fill out
the question form, click submit.
- Librarians will check e-mail each day and respond within two
business days. If your question is sent over a holiday, the answer
may take longer.
