Join Margaret Bickers, as she shares what she’s learned has learned in the process of writing and publishing both fiction and non-fiction. Although not born in Amarillo, Margaret got here as soon as she could and has lived in the High Plains ever since—with intermittent detours to Georgia, Iowa, and northeast Kansas. Margaret’s most recent book is Red Water, Black Gold: The Canadian River in Texas 1920–1999, and she is also the author of four novels and multiple short story collections published under a pen name.

You’ll need to know how to cast on and do the knit stitch for this more advanced class. Learn to purl, do yarn-overs, and knit two-together stitches. Bring your knitting needles and yarn!
