This special event—hosted by Friends of the Amarillo Public Library—is a celebration of Books and Reading, and raises funds for special support of Library Education Services.  There are three ways to celebrate:

Meet the Authors – 9:30 AM to Noon

Meet Local & Regional Authors! 

Workshops & activities on books, writing,&  more!

Stories, Games, & Activities for Kids! 

NO CHARGE—free and open to the public.

Moonrise Picnic Luncheon

Lunch and lecture with Cassandra King, author of Moonrise, Queen of Broken Hearts, Making Waves, and The Same Sweet Girls

A Little Knowledge Trivia Contest – 2 PM

Test your knowledge to win bragging rights and support a great cause!

$50 per team—up to 6 players 

Books to Broadway Gala Dinner – 6 PM

Cocktail Hour, Silent Auction, Dinner & Show

Fairy Tales on Broadway – a musical Review of Songs from Broadway Musicals based on Books!  Produced by Dr. Robert Hansen, Director of WTAMU School of Music

$50 per Person
